Who We Are
Bear Structures is a civil and structural engineering consultancy practice founded by Andy Britton and is committed to delivering a highly professional and personal service. We strive to offer our clients a reactive, tailored and individual service ranging from conceptual design through to construction support. We pride ourselves on designing structures that are innovative, unique and cost-effective. We work closely with clients and also full multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver fully coordinated solutions.
Andy Britton - Director
Andy is a chartered structural engineer with over 13 years' experience in the sector. Having worked both in the UK and overseas for small and large engineering practices, Andy has an excellent feel for what works and always takes a pragmatic approach to finding engineering solutions. The principal of understanding clients' needs is paramount to the success of every project.
Ryan Brickell - Director
Having over 20 years' experience in the Construction Industry as well as his role as Director, Ryan is responsible for the technical delivery of our projects for both private and public sector clients. Ryan has extensive experience in sectors ranging from Healthcare, Residential, Custodial, Education, Retail, Leisure, Office and Domestic developments. In past roles he has been responsible for managing a team of Structural Engineering technicians as well as successfully working on a number of BIM projects as BIM Manager.
Paolo Carnevale - Director
A skilled and knowledgeable Chartered Civil Engineer, Paolo has comprehensive technical understanding along with extensive experience within the UK construction industry. Having worked as a Civil Engineer for almost 10 years, Paolo has been involved in schemes ranging from major infrastructure projects through to large residential developments. He emphasises the importance of working closely with clients from the outset and enjoys developing the design from conceptual stages through to completion.
